Greetings to all!
We would like you to know how much we appreciate the excellent
care and love our dad, Sandy received for the last 3 years at
the Haven. Alzheimer’s disease has many ups and downs and it's
sad but Debra, you and your staff and family made our dad live
the best he could and with the most dignity possible. I sure
wasn't there to see but from what I heard, Tommy took many
punches (sorry 'bout that). Tommy made dad feel like a buddy
and like a workin' man which he had been for so many years. I
noticed the girls feeding him his meals when he couldn't (or
wouldn't) do it for himself. He stayed well fed, shiny clean
and he was always up and out in the main living area. We know
all of you did your best for him and we will always be
grateful to you. I also am really appreciative of the way
you've been a friend to mom, and the special care Debra has
taken to go along to medical appointments with her to help
(and even to appt. for her) and interpreting medical language
for us so we could make the best choices for his care. Dad had
the BEST FRIENDS and the BEST EXISTENCE possible at your home
away from his home. Love from Carol Wentlandt, Mike and Brenda Huson, Tessa, Tyler and Tanya Huson

becoming a leading voice for elder care in Western
Washington. Having worked for many years in the field, she
is passionate about respecting the dignity of our older
citizens. "They deserve to be treated with respect of their
needs and desires whenever possible. They usually don't want
too much anyway. Why not give it to them and make sure they
are safe from harm and have their physical needs met."
