Debra is a support group facilitator for the Alzheimer's Association and hosts a monthly meeting on the 1st Wednesday of the month, 10:00 - 11:30 am. Please call for location.

Training, Public Speaking and Education for Care Givers

Debra conducts trainings and lectures on various topics for other agencies, home care providers, and independent living associations. Call for schedule or to request her as a speaker / trainer for your team.

Adult Day Care - Our adult day care services are intended to be convenient for the family. Our hours are flexible to accommodate the needs of the resident and the family first. The adult day care resident will share in all resident activities and can stay from 1 hour to 24 hours, seven days per week.

Adult Day Care at the Haven includes meals, snacks, activities, socialization, toileting, two person transfer (if needed), altered diets (puree, thickened liquids), and non-ambulatory support, as required.

Respite Care - We provide respite or short-term care for individuals who need assistance while their primary care giver is on vacation or temporarily unable to provide home care.

Our respite guest will receive the same excellent services as the facility's full-time residents, including 24 hours a day licensed nursing care and supervision. They also included in group and individual activities.

We believe that respite care is essential to family caring for seniors at home. It is a great benefit for the care givers to know that their loved one is in a loving, kind environment which is safe. The respite gives the care givers a much needed time to rest, rejuvenate and re-charge their "batteries."

The owner /Administrator of the Haven has a long career in nursing and as such is skillful in managing medications and meeting physical requirements.  The residents will tell you that they just love Debra—the owner/administrator/head nurse—and there’s no mistaking that she loves them too.  The Haven is fulfilling her life-long dream to truly serve our community’s seniors with appropriate and respectful quality care.
